We offer instruction in Classical French Fencing in all three weapons: Foil, Epee and Sabre, for the beginner as well as the experienced fencer.
All students must PRE-REGISTER for classes. Please register online
BEGINNER:

DESCRIPTION:
This class is an introduction to the Art of Classical Foil Fencing. Students will learn how to move, defend, and attack using the basic fencing weapon - the foil - in the Classical French style.
It is a relaxed workout coupled with exposure to the historical origins of this exciting martial art. Great for developing physical agility and mental focus, fencing is also FUN!
Fencing develops better eye-hand coordination, physical agility, grace, and balance, while promoting cardiovascular fitness and increased confidence and self-esteem.
All fencing equipment and instruction provided.
Please wear sneakers (no crocs, flip flops, boots, street shoes) and comfortable clothing (long pants) for this class. Gentlemen will also need their own cup (athletic protector) starting on week two.

DESCRIPTION:
This class is for FCB Beginner class graduates ONLY. Students must be graduates of a Beginner Class and have permission of the instructor. This class will pick up where Beginner Training left off . . . Skills will include: Compound Attacks, Attacks on the Blade, and more advanced footwork. Students will be fencing, judging and directing from Day 1.

DESCRIPTION:
This class is an introduction to the Art of Classical Foil Fencing, designed for KIDS ages 7-9. Young fencers will learn how to move, defend, and attack using a practice safety sword - in the Classical French style.
Kids in this class will be learning correct fencing form, developing appropriate fencing skills and cultivating courtesy and respect for others, as well as learning about the historical origins of this exciting sport. Great for developing physical agility and mental focus, fencing is also FUN!
Fencing develops better eye-hand coordination, physical agility, grace, and balance, while promoting cardiovascular fitness and increased confidence and self-esteem.
The main focus of this class will be to teach students a correct EN GARDE stance as well as our CODE OF CONDUCT. On week four, they will be given an opportunity to take the SQUIRES' TEST, in order to advance to the next level of study (Squires).
